Celebrating One of Our Own
CoHub volunteer Shaper, Diane, receives High Sheriff's Award for Greater London.
We were incredibly proud to see our wonderful volunteer, Diane, recognised by the High Sheriff of Greater London for her outstanding contribution to the community.
Diane's award celebrates the kindness, dedication and generosity she brings to The CoHub and her 6 years length of service!
Her recognition is a reminder that community is built by ordinary people doing extraordinary things, and we couldn't be prouder to have Diane as part of our team.

Building a More Resilient Hackney
Preparing communities before emergencies happen.
The CoHub is proud to be helping shape a more resilient Hackney through our developing Hackney Community Response Network (HCRN).
As Hackney Council's lead community hub for this work, we're working alongside residents, voluntary organisations and emergency partners to develop practical, community-led plans that strengthen local resilience before crises happen.
Because the strongest emergency response starts with connected communities, trusted relationships and people who know how to help one another.
Watch this space! There are some exciting developments coming over the next few months.

One Incredible Day.
448 residents. 36 organisations. Countless new beginnings.
Our inaugural Hackney Opportunity Fair 2026 brought together employers, education providers, community organisations and advice services under one roof, creating a one-stop destination for jobs, skills, support and opportunity.
With 448 residents attending, the event exceeded expectations and has already become an annual fixture in Hackney's community calendar.
