The CoHub is a place you can walk into without explaining yourself.

We provide accessible, dignity-first support for Hackney residents - whether you need immediate practical help, someone to talk things through with, or guidance on what to do next.

You do not need to arrive in crisis.
You do not need to have all the answers.
You do not need to prove anything.

You are not alone - and you do not have to navigate things by yourself.

We understand that life can become overwhelming - financially, emotionally, practically. Our role is to reduce pressure, not add to it.

Through The Community Closet and CoCreate Hackney, we offer wraparound same day support (food & fuel poverty, clothing & hygiene essentials, digital support, information, advice, well-being and specialist referrals. Some services are drop-in. Some are bookable. All are delivered with respect.

CoHub Hackney is a warm, non-judgemental community hub bringing together frontline support and resident-led innovation. We offer a range of services designed to provide immediate relief and long-term solution.

Clothing & Essentials

Access everyday clothing, children’s bundles and crisis essentials in a dignity-first environment.

We provide practical support without complicated eligibility rules. Whether you need something urgently or just need a little breathing space, we’re here.

Support is available for individuals and families.

One-to-one, informal support to help you navigate what’s next. We can help with:

  • Benefits and cost-of-living pressures

  • Housing and tenancy concerns

  • Digital access and forms

  • Local service signposting

Specialist Citizen Advice service for Pensioners & specialist advisor in place for SEN & Disability support.

Health & Wellbeing

Community-led sessions designed to support physical and emotional wellbeing.

From workshops, exercise and group discussions to practical health information sessions and Insight Labs, we create space for residents to learn, connect, feel supported & access opportunities.

Specialist Referral

Some situations require specialist support. We can connect you to trusted local and statutory services including:

  • Health providers

  • Housing services

  • Advocacy organisations

  • Recovery and safeguarding teams

We act as a bridge - helping you access the right support at the right time.

Domestic Violence

We provide discreet, trauma-aware support and safe signposting for anyone experiencing domestic abuse.

 

You will be listened to.

You will not be judged.

You will not be rushed.

 

We work with trusted specialist partners to ensure you can access confidential, prompt and appropriate help.
